Dual-channel Pitot Anemometer

Simultaneously Measure Static Pressure and Duct Air Velocity

This high-precision dual-mode pressure acquisition unit supports dual-channel independent detection and features a built-in Bernoulli flow algorithm for simultaneous measurement of wind speed, air volume, and static pressure. This provides a precise and reliable detection solution for HVAC, environmental monitoring, industrial ventilation, and other fields.

Product Advantages

Professional-grade performance, fully reflective screen, and long battery life

PP / VV / PV Modes

Dual Pressure, Dual Flow, Static Pressure & Flow

The instrument supports three switchable modes: PP (two pressure channels), VV (two airflow channels), and PV (one static pressure + one airflow channel). User-configurable parameters include Pitot tube coefficients Ka/Kb, cross-sectional areas Sa/Sb, and air density, enabling adaptation to different duct sizes, operating conditions, and altitudes.

Dual-channel synchronous measurement

Independently equipped dual sensor units

Two independent pressure inputs, flexibly configured for total, static, or velocity pressure. One-tap Peak/Track switching boosts field efficiency. With a 50 ms scan interval and a built-in trend/curve display, the instrument logs peak changes in sync, making it easy to find airflow balance points and pinpoint anomalies.

Full Reflective display

The brighter the sun, the clearer it looks

DP100 features a monochrome reflective screen that becomes clearer in stronger sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor testing. It comes with a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery and a lightweight ~160 g body, and supports one-touch zeroing.

Applications of the Pitot Anemometer in Multiple Fields

Pitot tubes measure air velocity by comparing total (stagnation) pressure to static pressure. When a flow is brought to rest at the Pitot opening, its kinetic energy converts to pressure, producing a total pressure Pt. Static ports sample the undisturbed static pressure Ps. The difference ΔP=Pt−Ps is the dynamic pressure, which relates to speed through Bernoulli’s equation.

Because Pitot probes are compact, rugged, and have a wide dynamic range, they are used across diverse fields. In HVAC and building commissioning, they verify duct velocity, balance airflow, and test cleanrooms and fume hoods. In industrial ventilation and process air, they monitor dust collection, drying, combustion air, and pneumatic conveying. Stack and emissions testing relies on Pitot or S-type probes for regulatory flow measurements. In aerospace and automotive, Pitot-static systems determine aircraft airspeed and support wind-tunnel testing; in UAVs they provide lightweight, reliable airspeed data. Meteorology and environmental monitoring use Pitot techniques for tower observations and field campaigns, while energy audits apply them to diagnose system efficiency.
